About this tool

Is Fable Back? is a live status page for Claude Fable 5. A backend routine probes the model once a minute by asking it a trivial question, then records whether it answered. This page reads that latest result, so you get a clear YES or NO without checking yourself.

It's read-only and lightweight: the page polls every minute and shows the current state, when it was last checked, and a short history of recent checks. Only the latest result is stored on the backend, so it stays cheap to run.

When Fable is unavailable you'll see the model's own 'currently unavailable' message. The moment it starts answering again, the indicator flips to YES — handy if you're waiting for Fable to come back online.
