About this tool
A discount calculator works out the final price of an item after a percentage is taken off, and shows exactly how much you save. The math is straightforward: the amount saved is the original price multiplied by the discount percentage divided by 100, and the final price is the original price minus that saving. A 25% discount on a $100 item, for example, saves you $25 and leaves a sale price of $75. The calculator handles any percentage from 0 to 100, so it works for small promo codes and deep clearance markdowns alike.
